An epilator is one of the few devices that are in permanent contact with the skin for a long time.

Remove the Cap

Remove hidden screw inside the head

This screw is deep inside the back of the epilators head. By using a small screwdriver you can easely access-it and unscrew it. Press enter or click to view image in full size

Open the golden part

Use a plastic opening tool to bring the flexible part down and access the turning gears. Press enter or click to view image in full size

Brush the gears to remove every stuck hair

For this step you’ll need an antistatic brush to remove all the hair that can sneak into the gears and damage your epilator. Press enter or click to view image in full size

Lock the golden part back

With the same plastic opening tool you have used to unlock the golden flexible part, lock it bu pushing the locks. Press enter or click to view image in full size

Give all the external parts a good cleaning

Find a Silk Epil 9 Flex replacement head before having to change all the epilator

If during the operation you find out that the internal gears of the head are clog with hair you might want to buy a replacement head for your epilator.

Clogged heads might cause a slow epilation as well as battery damage, making the epilator unusable.
